career services for clients

Career Services helps clients develop the skills, experience and confidence to increase their employment potential.  Career counseling staff provide clients with vocational assessment and counseling, employment training, referrals to schools and skills training programs, job development, placement and follow-up services.  In the program's Learning Center, clients receive literacy training and GED preparation.

In addition, Career Services offers a VESID orientation for those seeking VESID services at 53 Canterbury Road. This orientation session describes VESID services and the eligibility process. Career Services staff gathers the eligibility paperwork and sends it to VESID. VESID then determines eligibility and will notify you of your status.

To sign up for a VESID Orientation session call East House Career Services at 585.473.3360.
