The Crossroads Program provides
residential rehabilitation services to men and women who are recovering
from chemical dependency. The program consists of four homes with a
total of 66 beds and 35 apartments with a total of 60 beds. Within the
program are eight apartments designed specifically for women in
recovery living with their dependent school-aged children.
Services
include individual and group counseling; recreational, educational and
vocational programs; peer support; monitoring of physical and emotional
health; development of independent living skills, and coordination with
other service providers. Clients are encouraged to attend 12-step
self-help programs, work on interpersonal relationships, and develop
educational and vocational skills leading to employment and greater
self-sufficiency.

In 2010, of the 340 clients served by the Crossroads Program, only
13% were discharged due to relapse.
Upon completion of the program, 80% of clients moved to live more independently and
68% of clients were involved in education, training or employment.
The cost of a Crossroads group home is $75/day and $38/day in the apartment program compared to an average cost of $260/day for inpatient
treatment.
